Proton will raise prices in January 2016

Proton Holdings Bhd. (Proton) is considering raising the price of its vehicles starting in January 2016. This was due to the weakening ringgit, which led to an increase in operating costs for many raw materials. It is because many materials are purchased in foreign currencies. Renault Chief Executive Officer, Datuk Abdul Harith Abdullah said Proton has taken several initiatives in an attempt to reduce and rationalize operating costs

PNB confirm Samsung C & T built KL118









Real estate company in South Korea, Samsung C & T appointed a strategic partnership with the developer, UEM Group Bhd. (UEM) for the construction of 118-storey Menara Warisan worth RM3.4 billion. Saham Nasional Berhad (PNB) has decided to give the contract to Samsung C & T in collaboration with UEM involving a contract value of RM3.4 billion. 




Development of the project includes the construction of a building of 118-storey skyscraper in Kuala Lumpur with an area of 67.39 hectares, which houses office space for corporate offices and hotels. With a height of 644 meters, the tower is expected to be among the world's tallest building when completed in 2019. Construction KL118 or also known as legacy 118-storey tower, estimated a cost of RM5 billion and is close to Merdeka Stadium here was initiated in last year, after several years of delay.

Land Rover Defender Limited Edition



            Jaguar Land Rover (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd launched the Land Rover Defender Limited Edition priced at RM153,888 each. The vehicle is basically a pickup Land Rover Defender Double Cab improved with 13 exclusive accessory sets include patterned plate dam, roof rack, a higher air intake, side protection bar, assembly kit and A-frame protection bar. In addition, customers can also make addition of a limited edition accessory package is priced at RM65,388 including cost of labor and goods and services tax (GST). 
 


The owner of the existing Land Rover Defender who like to modify their vehicles to transport great tool that can be taken to go ,where they can also buy limited edition accessories package. The package originally worth RM79,000 but is now available at a special price RM65,388 during the promotion period from now until 31 December. Furthermore, the accessories will be installed by trained technicians and security protected, except the paint and off-road tires. Land Rover Defender Limited Edition is a tribute to the iconic Land Rover Defender 4x4 as the last of the series production by the end of the year.

Google will launch a Chinese version of Google Play





Google plans to launch a smartphone app store Google Play version China next year. it makes Google as the first entry on the market since the end of support for local products in 2010. Google Play was launched specially for the Chinese market and is not related to the overseas version of Google Play and Google intends to comply with Chinese law on content filtering that may be seen as sensitive by the ruling Communist Party.

 Previously, Google withdrew its services five years ago after the company refused to continue the vetting of results. Google will use the platform to position products and services in the country. However, it remains to identify the next product that will be brought into China. In addition, the chief executive of Google, Sundar Pichai and several senior officials to be open and not secret plans to return to China and Google Play market is one of the first products to be brought in.


Malaysia introduces the second generation Audi Q7





     Audi Malaysia launched the all-new Audi Q7, also known as the Great quattro. Audi Q7 taken from the full-time all-wheel drive, which is synonymous with the brand and the model, is expected to be the new benchmark for all sports utility vehicle (SUV) premium. Melaka give low home prices




Melaka is listed as the only state that has index ratio of median house price to median annual income of the population with a score of 3.0, which is in the category of 'affordable housing' compared with other states across the country. 
Based on the index released by Khazanah Research Institute (KRI) in August, the median price of homes in Melaka is RM180,000 per unit, while the median household income is RM5,029 population RM60,348 a month or a year. The Affordability index has a home in Malacca state also significantly lower than the national index by 4.4 points or fall in the category of seriously unaffordable. The study divides all the states into four groups in Malaysia, namely affordability with a score of 3.0 and below, there is an affordable medium (3.1 to 4.0), it is not affordable (4.1 to 5.0) and very not affordable (5.0 and above) , the Chief Minister, Datuk Seri Idris Haron said he was confident that the state government is trying to provide and meet the demand for affordable housing (RMM) growing in the country. RMM preparation achievement by the federal government in Melaka until now was 24.409 units comprising 1,880 housing units completed; 2,837 housing units were under construction and 19,692 units in the approval stage of development.

Mydin plans to open nine more supermarkets


       Mydin Mohamed Holdings Bhd. will open nine more hypermarkets MYDIN nationwide next year with investments of RM1.03 billion. Among the chosen location is Sebang Island in Melaka; Samariang and Vista Tunku in Sarawak; Jengka in Pahang; Mutiara Rini in Johor; Senawang in Negeri Sembilan; Phase Sungai Petani Kedah and Sepanggar in Sabah. Mydin currently has 20 hypermarkets, including the latest one in Bukit Mertajam who inaugurated today than six premium supermarket Sam's Groceria. 
Its managing director, Datuk Dr. Ameer Ali Mydin said Mydin make substantial investments to bring Mydin to the public and give them the option to get a variety of daily necessities at low prices. Besides, Mydin will also explore the market in Sabah and Sarawak to open three supermarkets. In addition, in the current economic slowdown, Mydin took the opportunity to offer more products at bargain prices. As all know, the brand is famous for the wholesale price Mydin also helps them to compete in the retail market. The opening of new premises of Mydin also creates 600 jobs for the locals and these also help local entrepreneurs.

RM5 million PGU-level agricultural outputs Johor





Johor state government has allocated RM5 million for the Entrepreneur Promotion Programme (PGU) next year. This provision aims to create a competitive agricultural industry, apart from improving product quality, safe, environmentally friendly and export-oriented. About 500 participants are targeted at this time who will be assisted PGU project through the Small Loan Scheme A District One Industry (SMSI). Environmentally friendly gold mining






A non-profit organization that has created an eco-friendly mining machinery, known as Commander, it was designed by the Foundation for World Peace Malaysia One result of research conducted over the past three years. Islamic finance sector in 2016 is expected to increase

GST Rate unchanged




The government still maintains gst rate of 6%. This is because petroleum tax revenue is expected to decline from $ 27 billion in 2014 to RM 9 billion. However, if the rate of GST is increased, it is only 1%, this will affect the people because of the increased drastically.

Increase the income of rubber tapper




The Ministry of Rural and Regional Development is promoting rubber tappers in order to cultivate other crops as initiatives to help them to increase their income.
