RM5 million PGU-level agricultural outputs Johor

Johor state government has allocated RM5 million for the Entrepreneur Promotion Programme (PGU) next year. This provision aims to create a competitive agricultural industry, apart from improving product quality, safe, environmentally friendly and export-oriented. About 500 participants are targeted at this time who will be assisted PGU project through the Small Loan Scheme A District One Industry (SMSI). Small projects will be given the help of machines, tools, workshops and other equipment, and they also have a value of RM20,000 to RM100,000 per annum. meanwhile, SMSI also be given to small and medium entrepreneurs whose business they hit the sales revenue of RM3,000 per month. 

Furthermore, the scheme will also help employers who cultivate fertigation, or to obtain halal certification in addition to emphasizing the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) where help will be followed by consultation, guidance, support, training and professional advice. Fertigation system is one of the branches of hydroponic among others such as Micro drip system, hydroponic Flows In, Hydroponics shallow stream, a static Hydroponics, Aeroponics and micro sprinkler. This system aims to prevent the attack of diseases caused by insects, fungi such as Pythium, Fusarium, rhizoton and also wilt disease caused by the soil bacteria. all these services are provided for determining food production for national consumption.
